Jobs for Youth Staff

Yuri Dew

Yuri Dew provides leadership to Jobs for Youth as the project’s Director.  Working collaboratively with San Francisco’s public, private and non-profit leaders, Yuri ensures Jobs for Youth provides high quality service to youth job seekers while meeting the needs of business.

Yuri joined Jobs for Youth after serving as the Director of Workforce Development in the Education & Youth Services Division of FEGS Health and Human Service Systems, Inc., in New York City.  She has experience designing, implementing and evaluating youth workforce development programs, developing public and private sector work experience for youth, curriculum design, and staff development.  Yuri became passionate about youth workforce development while serving as a Graduate Intern at City-As-School High School and Public Policy Fellow at Catholic Charities; both experiences highlighting the impact meaningful employment has on a young person’s development and community health.

Yuri earned her MA in Educational Administration from New York University and a BA in Political Science from the University of Southern California (Fight On!).  Yuri is a Central Coast native, but is happy to now call San Francisco home.
